This week I decided to pay more attention to nature.
Palm trees standing perpendicular to the ground along the beach. I could smell the sea here.
There are little seedlings and plants growing from little corners of this restroom, they add a little colour to this all white scene. There is life growing all around.
A palm tree underneath the clear, cloudless blue sky. It caught my attention as Singapore rarely has such cloudless skies. This day was rather warm due to the lack of clouds.
There is a small cluster of moss sprouting at the end of this fallen water pipe. The water pipe created this disrupted line across the wall, which caught my attention. Following the direction of the pipe, my eyes spotted the moss forming at the bottom. I could hear water trickling down the pipe.
Many little roots spreading itself beneath the ground. It looks like a frayed wire.
I spotted this cut down tree stump with many sprouts forming around it. It looked very unique and interesting to me. It looks bare, even it's bark looks smooth and bare. This stump reminds me of a coat hanger stand.
Interesting roots uprooted from the ground. They look like hands crawling away, reaching out for something.
Reflection:
One can find the beauty of mother nature all around at every corner. We need to open our eyes more and be more observant to nature as we can get many ideas from nature. Many items that we have right now may have been inspired from mother nature. Maybe the inventor of wires got the idea from paying attention to how roots gathered together to transport water and minerals to the plant. I would like to sketch more of nature and develop art from them.
