Week 2: A Picture A Day

I took this shot of Lasalle's architecture.

I went on the rooftop garden to take this photo

A rare sight of a clear cloudless blue sky in Singapore.

This building caught my attention when i was walking.

A shot of capitol building.

A old design of a building on my way back home.

I captured this photograph from my bedroom window when I was staring out the window.

Reflection:
The lone cluster of clouds captured my attention as it was the most prominent thing in the clear blue sky. The clouds hover over the buildings like thought bubbles from comics. This let me wonder about the ideas behind a building, what inspired the architect to design that specific building in that way. Leading me to think that the architect may have left their secret signature on the design that we may never know of. I have come upon the realisation that we don't typically think of the stories behind how buildings are designed and just accept how it is. This allowed me to open my eyes and start to wonder more about how things are created.
